Jill wrote this song for me. It seems like everytime I'm going through something, Jill artistically articulates the scenario as if we are spiritually connected. Thank God for Jill and her music it may be just entertainment for some, but for people like me it is true testimony of real life; which is theraputic for real people like myself. Hate on me is real! it can't get no realer. For some people aint nothing ever good enough, they still complain, and make excuses for there own inadequates; but point the finger at others trying to suck them into their same miserable habitual routine. Thank God for Jill giving clarity to notice these haters and not allowing the REAL people to feel guilt or shame for moving on and away from these diseased haters trying to infect the real of us.

This song Jill is singing is so empowering for all the people who struggle with the takers in our lives: you know the ones who need your oxygen to breathe, must attempt to mire you in their misery in order alleviate their own lonliness, guilt and shame...the ones who twist your good deeds until they become gross representations of your original benevolent intent. I think she illustrates the realization and rejection of this parasitic behavior. She gets good and mad, rightuos indignation, I would call it. It compells us, me certainly, to erradicate these evil influence from our lives. There is real liberation in recogniziong these poisionous people, elliminating them from your life, and instead surrounding yourself with the life affirming people who love and support you.. Cancer is deadly , cut it out if you can...THANKS JILL!!
True testimony
I loved this song as soon as I heard the jazzy horn and the beat! Then when Jill comes on and lays down the fiesty vocals I was blown away!!! I have been a fan since 2001's "Who is Jill Scott?" to the 2004 GRAMMY winner "Beautifully Human" and Jill still amazes me with her sound! To all the haters...just hate on me cuz I'm gonna do me!!! LOL
